Sign-on Letters

Sign on letter to House and Senate appropriations subcommittee members of the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies urging the inclusion of at least $11.581 billion for CDC’s programs in the FY 2027 Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies appropriations bill and to reject any efforts to dismantle the agency or eliminate any of its essential public health programs.  

Sign on letter to to House and Senate Appropriations Committee leaders. The letter requests at least $10.5 billion in discretionary funding for the Health Resources and Services Administration’s programs in the FY 2027 Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies appropriations bill. 

Sign-on letter in support of federal funding for gun violence prevention research in Fiscal Year (FY) 2027. The letter urges Congress to allocate $35 million to the CDC, $25 million to the NIH, and $1 million to the NIJ—consistent with funding requests made in previous years—to sustain critical research efforts in this area.
